Special Kirtan Dec 15, 2012

3rd Saturday Kirtan Goes Deeper This Month - Dec 15 at YogaLife

Most of us feel the auspiciousness of this time of year. There is a sense of gestation in the dark of the year, the going inward and gathering of energy that will sprout into the Light in the coming months. This year, 2012, many of us feel an additional shift happening on multiple levels, bringing in a more cooperative and compassionate paradigm for us to engage in. In response to this, and to contribute our combined sacred energy and inten...
tions, we're planning a special 5 hour kirtan this month.

It will begin at 7:30 as our usual 3rd Saturday kirtan, and then continue onward for those wanting a deeper dive into the blissful bhakti bhav that comes as we recognize our Unity in the One Consciousness. We will have an interim closing and intermission for those who wish to leave at the customary time of 9:30 and we invite you to bring nutritional food and drink to sustain and nourish ourselves during the evening. There will be an area set up in the lobby for refreshments for people to take breaks as they need. You are welcome and go as you like, but please be mindful of the deep states others are in and manage your energy appropriately during ingress and egress.

Newcomers are most welcome; no experience necessary! Everyone is invited to participate as they feel called. Sing, dance, sit silently, offer to lead, play an instrument, drum, or whatever you feel moved to do. People all over the earth have been chanting for us for millennia. We have the opportunity to do this for current and future generations. Come join us and bring your individual expression of Light to this joyous practice of chanting the names of the Divine from all paths.

The particulars: We chant at YogaLife Studio in Greenlake at 7200 Woodlawn Ave NE http://www.yogalife.com/seattle-yoga-studios.html

This space is really sweet with great acoustics. YUM!
