Kirtan is easy relaxing call-and-response singing the names of Love. No particular spiritual path is necessary to directly experience the bliss of chanting. True community style: anyone can lead, with or without accompaniment. Bring your instruments: drums, guitars, bells, there's a harmonium or 3 you can play, and most importantly bring your heart and voice. Come exactly as you are, and participate as you feel called: sing, dance, meditate, or simply relax in the good vibrations. You are welcome here!
Open your heart chakra effortlessly as we tone, chant, and sing our way into greater connection with yourself and each other. The mind calms and the heart naturally opens to the peace that exists within us when we experience the chant…such an easy way to brush away the cobwebs that keep us from seeing our true Divine Nature. No singing expertise is necessary to directly experience the bliss of chanting.
(Men & Women welcome in this workshop!)
Location: North Seattle Community College
Open your heart chakra effortlessly as we chant love songs to our own sweet hearts. As we feel the vibrations created through our chanting, we become present and allow peace and love to flow through our bodies. Together, we’ll create a vibration of oneness to calm our busy minds so we can experience peace, contentment and joy. That which we adore is adoring us, which is easy to see in ourselves and others when we chant. No singing expertise is necessary to experience the bliss of chanting.

Finding your authentic voice: (Friday night presentation) In this FUN workshop we will tone, chant and sing our way into greater connection with our Selves and each other. We use our voices every day, so common, yet we don’t often pay attention to what that experience is. Our voices are the most powerful and intimate tool we have to connect with the world, able to inspire others with joy, tears, longing and laughter. Using sacred Sanskrit mantras and chants we will dive deep into the powerful sound vibrations that bring healing and transformation easily and gracefully. Facilitated by Jennifer and her harmonium (Indian squeeze box) we will warm up our instruments and dive deep into the potent vibrations of sound.
Saturday night: “Tonight is the night for Love: Love songs to our own Heart” Open your heart chakra effortlessly as we chant love songs to our own sweet hearts. That which we adore is adoring us, and this becomes easy to see in ourselves and each other when we chant. No singing expertise is necessary to directly experience the bliss of chanting.
Individual sessions: Jennifer offers one-hour individual sessions that assist you in going deep into the practice of sacred sound and can transport you into a healing place. Sing your way into greater Oneness through sacred chants and mantras from Hindu, Sikh and other traditions. Sound vibrations are the first method of healing that our bodies use. Pronunciation, breath and energy meridians will all be incorporated so you can fully experience Sacred Sound in your own body.
